“Singers and dancers have long performed on New York City’s subways, but the advent of social media means that the audience for these performers goes way beyond the commuting crowd.

LyveTyme is a subway dance team. Videos of their moves amass hundreds of thousands of views when their members share them on YouTube and Facebook. Through social media, the dancers are able to promote their skills and their name.

The BBC’s Anna Bressanin spoke to members of LyveTyme about why the keep dancing – and posting.”
