University of Warwick Breakdance Society presents our first competition jam since 2008 called “Step & Style (Vol. 1)” on Sat 4th March 2017 at the University of Warwick in Coventry!
We are extremely excited to contribute to the UK Bboy event calendar and would like to welcome one and all to come along!

The main event will be in the Flexigrid, inside the Rootes Building on Level 1. We’ll also be laying some hardboards around the competition area for cyphers on the side (:

Transport Info:
A. BY TRAIN + BUS
Train to Coventry train station. Take uni bus 12X in the direction of Warwick University from the interchange bus-stop just outside the station, no change given. Exact fare required. Alight at main bus interchange outside Warwick Arts Centre.
(£2 single, £4 daysaver, £8 group daysaver up to 5 persons)
Alternatively, sharing a cab would be approximately £10 to central campus.
B. BY MEGABUS COACH
Megabus to Coventry Cannon Park station just outside the uni. Use Google Maps to show walking directions from Cannon Park Shopping Centre to Warwick University Students’ Union Building. Approximately 15 minute walk.
C. BY CAR
Turn off the A45 to Kenilworth Road (A429) and again into Gibbet Hill Road. Follow signs to Warwick Arts Centre. Turn off first roundabout (next to main bus interchange and Warwick Arts Centre) into University Road and park at Car Park 7 (Free Parking on Saturdays). Map to be uploaded closer to event date.

1600-1610: Judges’ Throwdown (moving this earlier because it always gets missed out late in events!)
1610-1650: Top 16 2v2s (3 rounds per pair)
1650-1710: Top 8 2v2s (3 rounds per pair)
1710-1730: Top 4 Uni Crews (8 minutes per battle)
1730-1740: Top 4 2v2s (3 rounds per pair)
1740-1750: FINAL Uni Crews (9 minute battle)
1750-1800: FINAL 2v2s (4 rounds per pair)
